ROLEX GMT-Master II “Rootbeer” Reference Number 126711CHNR-0002

GMT-Master II ref. 126711 CHNR is in Everose Rolesor, a combination of steel and rose gold. Famously known as the “Root Beer”. In 2005, Rolex introduced Everose, their proprietary blend of 18-karat pink gold that combines pure gold, copper, and a small amount of platinum to create a unique rose gold alloy that will never lose its warm red color. Fitted with a black glossy maxi dial with prominent markers in 18K everose gold and super bright chromalight, the dial displays the GMT Master II writing in powder rose, which is close to the brown colour as the cerachrom bezel. Just like its siblings, the Rolex GMT Master II Everose Gold is fitted with a maxi case measuring 40 mm in diameter. Equipped with a triplock screw-down crown, it’s easily identifiable by the three dots under the Rolex coronet. On its second position, the crown allows the wearer to adjust the hour hand in a jumping manner from hour to hour — this operation also serves as the date adjustment forward or backwards. Thanks to its Oyster case and triplock crown the watch is waterproof to 100 meters. Rolex has presented a whole new calibre for this current new range of GMTs. On the GMT Master II, the new calibre 3285 replaces the calibre 3186. Rolex’s new GMT Master II models contain a small Rolex coronet on the dial at 6 o’clock to commemorate this new milestone. The watch wears true to size and sits comfortably on the wrist.
